I would have thought with the shape and design of this unit that it would be recommended for the gym, but most reviewers say it will shift around on your neck to much and become irritating. Besides that it isn't sweat-proof. I'm kinda disappointed that stereo bluetooth has been around for almost 5 years now and no one has yet to design a unit that is good for the gym (the Motorola S9/10 breaks from sweat.)
I use mine almost exclusively in the gym and I have no problems. I haven't jogged with it on, though. I've weight-lifted, elliptical glider, just about everything else but jogged - NO problems whatsover. Doesn't come out of my ears (which surprises me because they don't go "in" my ears like other units I have) and it's so light that you forget about it very quickly. I say try one for yourself and see what you think.
Watahboy. Check out jaybirds. I have the freedom headset and they are awesome. Sweatproof, lightweight and won't fall off.

I've heard good things about Jaybirds as well Newegg has them for $79 free shipping . If I wasn't being so stupid and cheap I should have ordered a pair of those instead of trying 10 other cheaper pairs. Sadly I just ordered the Emerson pair that went up just now, if those fail Jaybirds are going to be the only real resolution for me.

Nice...except the Jaybirds are over twice the price of the LG.
Just a plain set if earbuds are fine.
