I'm glad this phone is coming down in price. Originally was around $300 when it came out. Now I'm just waiting till they offer the promotion with a 1yr contract instead.

when you receive or send sound and clip message, you will be charged for data usage. I had it when it was $300, I returned it because it's hard to scroll thru the phonebook

2-year contract kills the deal. As like #6's comment, paying too much for the data services.

If you fear a 2-year commitment, good luck w/ marriage. :p
The phone takes a little time getting used to the tap/scrolling, but works great once you figure out keeping the pressure down while scrolling.

I agree I was looking into getting this phone instead of the Iphone, the touch screen is pretty useless. It is also hard to navigate through and the browser is junk imo. Glad I got the Iphone.

actually, this is not a smart phone, but it is considered one of the smarter "dumb" phones. i own it and like it and think it was the best phone on the verizon network when i bought it.

current plans charge you up the wazoo for sending ANY data, g, pictures, messaging, mobile web, video. should stay with the old America's Choice plan like we have that has no charges except the flat-rate for messaging and mobile web.
