Anyone have any experiences with this? Reviews online are mixed... so any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I have the DMA2200, same unit with a DVD player built in. I like the unit. You do have to have video files in a media center friendly format in order to play them, but otherwise I love the unit. HDMI connection, or component video with digital audio out, also s-video with stereo audio out. Versatile, wireless works well and is not hard to set up. Must have vista with media center (home premium or above) to make it work. Mine is wired, not wireless (but I did use the wireless for a while) and the response time is very good.

I got a media extender and it is OK but my plan is to get a laptop with an HDMI out to use instead as the extenders don't work nearly as well.

I have one of these and it works great. It's silent (unlike the XBOX 360 as a media center extender) so it can stay on all the time. I'm picking another one up at this price. I did have trouble streaming HDTV over Wireless N on it from far across the house. Rather than tweak on it, I hardwired and it's no longer an issue.
