Cisco has the refurbished Linksys E3000 802.11n Dual Band Gigabit Router for $100 - 15% off with coupon code HSRM15 = $85 with free shipping. Features simultaneous 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, optimized for faster HD video streaming, parental controls, built-in UPnP AV media server, and can create separate networks for guests.
How timely, I've had an E3000 for all of two weeks and today it started running REALLY slow. My normal 150mb down, 50mb up connection was testing out at 2mb down, 300k up. I rebooted the modem first with no improvement so I moved on to reboot the E3000. When it finally came back up, all the settings had reverted to factory defaults. I logged in, reconfigured it, then rebooted again. It reset back the second time as well. I tried two more times, same result.
I'm running the newest firmware, literally has only been out of the box for two weeks.
Do yourself a favor, don't buy anything from Linksys/Cisco anymore. Since Cisco took them over all the products are shite. There's a lot of better options out there (Netgear, Apple, heck Dlink seems better these days).
Stock firmware are usually pretty crappy. Drop DD-WRT or Tomato on it and it will be rock solid. But, if you want stock firmware, my personal favorite is Buffalo brand which is rock solid even with stock firmware and also is DD-WRT and Tomato compatible. Do your home work before buying any router. D-Link and Netgear are a joke during 802.11g time. Maybe they are better now but from past experiences, I avoid them completely.
Must be making room for their new model. (E4200)
Shows up as Refurbished, btw.

Agree with #3. My most recent Netgear/Cisco WAP was baconnaise.
