awesome router, upgraded from dir655, couldn't be happier...
Meh. I was having range problems with the E4200(4400sq' 6br 3ba home). The internal antennas suck on the e4200. I tried a buffalo AG300H and was getting 240Mb connection with a trendnet TEW-664UB(I was getting 120Mb with the E4200) but still felt I wasn't getting the most of the 2 NAS boxes connected to the buffalo so I added a WLI-TX4-AG300N bridge which trained at 300Mb and I get about 35MB/s to my NAS boxes. considering overhead, 35MB/s is pretty decent.
Skip it and buy a buffalo
How much better is this than the E3000? Amazon has it refurbished for $64 shipped? Apparently it supports dd-wrt.
Upgraded from a DIR 615 and couldnt be happier. Range, options, and lots of other bits. I really enjoy the thing, but am annoyed it became so cheap so soon!
