I thought version 1 was a good deal for $120 a year or two ago, even when refurbished. My v1 routinely delivers 16 MB/sec to/from my MacBook Pro on 5 GHz. Not sure if thats its limit or my disk drive I/O limit.
Not sure if it's correct but I recall that V1 could run DD-WRT where V2 and newer wont..
