this is sweet looking, does anyone have any experiences with this? what is the hard drive capacity?
What would a NAS200 post be without me chiming in to post how much of a slow piece of garbage this is, and to plug recommending the d-link dns-323 instead. I bought the nas200 at first, and for whatever reason ignored it only had 10/100 on it. Good grief it is so mindnumbingly slow! The DNS-323 has gigabit ports on it, and alternative firmware options for it as well.
i have this one and it is not fast at all. however, i can stream music no problem and it has been very solid.
i thought for the price it was ok but faster would be better.
This is crap. I have one sitting in my closet. Used it for 1 week before buying a dlink dns-323 and never looked back. Slowest thing on your network.
Linksys consumer NAS devices don't seem to be able to do much more than stream music, and even then the connection is unstable. Go with the DNS-323 - Around $130 with rebate, gigabit, 2 drives, great speeds. Can easily stream multiple DVD ISO rips.
