#20: A brick P/S does not switch. It is a direct (constant) output, just like a battery. Your formula for wattage is correct for A/C current, not D/C. Direct current uses more wattage (in A/C) to produce D/C amperage because of (the stepdown transformer inside) resistance. I still stand by my calculations.

#21. It is a "switching power supply" (look it up), not a power supply that has a switch. It doesn't use a traditional step-down transformer. Even if it did (which would make the power supply huge and heavy and more expensive), your calculations would still be way off: There's no way the power supply has less than 50% efficiency when running within normal load parameters, unless it is horribly badly designed (it would almost have to be designed badly on purpose to be that bad).
