I prefer Asus routers. The last Linksys router I owned, started freezing on me. My Asus router has more flash, ram, etc (just plain more powerful and capable) and haven't had it freeze on me yet in over 6 months.

I've also noticed a slight lag in the interface, but other than that these work great. I'm just surprised to see that they are already selling refurbished devices.

Avoid this like the plague. It it defective engineering. Google the model # and you will understand why they are selling Refurb's

Constantly drops out, wireless stays active for a few minutes then requires a reset to get working again.

Do yourself a favor and pass on this one.

agreed. own this and have nothing but problems. I was able to keep from resetting daily by disabling N and a few other router tweaks. AVOID

These are in fact, crap. Range is poor in all of the ones I've encountered, not to mention the problems noted above.

There are multiple models named WRT160N. Some are 10/100 one channel, the latest model is 10/100/1000 and dual frequency (you can run two networks over 2.4GHz and 5GHz simultaneously).
