is this backward compatible with my 802.11g?
If you want to hook up more than one item to this "adapter" then buy a wireless-N bridge by Buffalo. I highly recommend the Buffalo Wireless-N Nfniti Ethernet Bridge and it has 4 ports. Very easy to setup compared to any other bridge I've used before and cheaper than the XBox -n adapter.
