NewEgg.com has the Linksys WPC300N Wireless-N Notebook Adapter for $21 - $7 code EMCBACDDA [Exp 10/29] = $14 with free shipping. It has excellent user reviews from people who have upgraded their notebooks' sluggish wireless to this beast. Take note that it is CardBus interface, not ExpressCard.

Circuit City once had this for on sale price: $30
So it's not hard to image online stores like Newegg will have this low price.
My roomate has this for his 5 year-old laptop and the result is very good. He even had to add extra RAM to handle the high speed download

I got one and never gotten anywhere near the max rated connection. most I got was 120mb/s from what it states as 300mb/s. That's with me standing next to the wireless N router. Not bad for the price since it's much better than wireless G. Oh well than you have to have a wireless N router too.

#3: you're only getting 120mb/s because your router is currently set to be at G/N hybrid mode. If you set your router to purely Draft-N mode, your connection speed should be 300mb/s.
