      $124 - $20 = $85?
The price is actually $84.99, but it is $35 off the original $119.99.

Not faster than wired ethernet, for at least a couple reasons.

      1) Wire ethernet includes gigabit ethernet.

      2) Connecting wirelessly to this you have yet to connect to your final destination since it's a router, not a client or server. There are two methods to route that destination connection inbuilt to it, over 100Mb, meaning it can't be faster than the very interface it is connecting through, or over wifi again, meaning you can take the best case wifi figure you would use and cut that in half since you've only gone 1/2 the one-way trip, at most.

Then there's fallback modes, interference, momentary dropouts, etc. Wireless is a great convenience but the connection quality is seldom as good as 100Mb, quality meaning sustaining a consistent speed.

According to some studies, the peak avg. performance drops fairly fast, like in the following it's already below 60Mb/s by the time it's 60 feet away inside, and that's the better product(s).

If you want a better distance outside, there's where wifi is better than the limited and inconvenient stringing of ethernet cable.
