Buy.com has the basic but solid Linksys WRT54G 802.11g Wireless Router (refurbished) for $33 with free shipping. This is a tried and true router for those who don't want to fuss with X2 X3 MIMO N hype. [BizRate]

I've had mine for about 2 years now and like it. Only have to reset it maybe once every 5 months or so. Never bothered to flash it though. The original firmware seems fine for my limited needs.

Agreed, I was trying to figure out why everyone thought this router was such a pussy. And I was thinking, yeah, you guys are really tough calling out a router like that. Now I feel like a real carrot head.

Let's stick to talk about the deal. Otherwise, I am reporting you to the moderator.

Have two of these routers, been using them for about 4 years now. Still great. Had been on DD-WRT for the past few years, switched to Tomato a couple months ago, and it's even better

I have the 3rd generation version of this. Rock solid. Not sure how good is the "new and revised" a cost-cutting version.

As the posting says, this is a rock-solid router. I've used mine for two years and never had a glitch.
