TigerDirect.com has the basic but solid Linksys WRT54G 802.11g Wireless Router for $30 + $8 shipping = $38 shipped. This is a tried and true router for those who don't want to fuss with X2 X3 MIMO N hype. [BizRate]

very good router. i have the speedbooster version and they're pretty much the same (you just need a speedbooster wireless adapter pci/usb to utilize it). i recommend using 3rd party firmware ie. tomato or dd-wrt to get the most out of it.

too bad most of the 3rd party firmwares won't run on this model.

Perhaps the most popular router ever. Cisco sucks (or was it Linksys themselves) for locking down the FW. Still a good router for those who don't dabble in hacks.

Got one last week at Fry's and it's returned already. It was freezing, had to power reset it almost every day. Read through the reviews and you will find quit large number of people had problems with these. Back to the Netgear, which always worked for me.

get the GL for a bit more money or the buffalo for less cost if you want hackable firmware. I don't know why would one get this unit at all.

I was going to ask if Tiger Direct is still as bad as ever, but #4 and #7 convinced me they are still as shady as ever.

I would sooner ask someone at best buy for advice than order anything from tiger direct. tiger direct is a burp joke.
