    i bought a refurb from buy.com and loaded dd-wrt. worked great so far. yes, it can be used as a bridge with dd-wrt

    Is than an accurate photo? Where are the antennae? I know N can use an antenna array and thought that was specifically why this case was designed as such... not for B or G...

    The pic is accurate. This model has a slightly inferior range to the out of the box wrt54g1 version... but new firmware can help fix that.

    WDS on Tomato or DD-WRT will the bridging as well as allow you to up the transmission power.

    Why invest in less than N and gigabit? Better yet dual transmitter N. The price difference isn't all that much but performance is.

    Heads up the reviews on new egg have seen differnet versions of this router being shipped. If you plan on using DD-WRT with this beware since it will not work with all versions.

    I have a version 1.0 of this and flashed it with dd-wrt and I think it works great.
