Newegg has the Linksys WUSB54GS Wireless G Network Adapter for $30 - $8 off with coupon code EMCYNYS29 [Exp 2/11] + $3 shipping = $25 shipped. It supports SpeedBooster technology with compatible wireless routers.

$25 for an aging, wireless G USB adapter seems mighty expensive considering the other options available these days.

I have one of these. Works good. I also just bought a Linksys WUSB100-RM IEEE Wireless Network Adapter for $9 which also works good. So I guess that would be another option. However that deal is over, and now it's $20.

I found out after upgrading my router that it doesn't support WPA2-AES. Does support WPA2-TKIP, though. Won't make a difference to the average (rodeo cowboy) user.

Like #1 mentioned: it has been on market for a while and I will say maybe you can find some of those on garage sale. If I am looking for usb wireless adapter- I will definitely looking for Wireless N- Not G anymore. You can find many N adapter for less than $30- then why pay for old technology or maybe Linksys name??? You can find many USB G adapters cheaper than this ..

when you have a b/g router and it does everything you need, why upgrade? Oh yeah.. to spend more money and to just have the latest/greatest so you feel better about yourself.

#8 If I pay $25 for a usb adapter - I will definitely get a Wireless N. When you have G/B router- you can definitively get a wireless G adapter for much less ( maybe half or even less price) Then what's the point to spend high price for outdated G adapter ??? That's not latest/greatest issue- but the value/cost issue. Older technology does have lower value and should show on their price tag.
Even the wireless N usb adapter here is cheaper this Linksys unit

Be honest with you, I paid my Linksys WUSB54GS Wireless G Network Adapter at Garage sale 2 or $5.
