I've used this adapter for over a year. Bought it on Ebay for about $10 and used it with a D-Link router. It usually worked very well but would occasionally drop a Skype connection. That may have been a peculiarity of my own setup but I substituted a Netgear b/g/n adapter with the g router and the problem did not recur. Now I use a b/g/n router, too. Newegg users have given it good reviews.
It works well enough but on my vista box, it detects it as a new connection on every reboot. It's now enumerated as wireless connection #58 or something like that. I've cleaned out the registry twice but have since given up.
these things break easy but they work fine. Antenna tends to be sucky.
Since these have been out there for a while now, and are not even N capable, shouldn't these be down to like $5 by now?
