    Oh well, milf_hunter and m0f0 cannot watch Brokeback Mountain with these. That's why they supported HD-DVD and McCain, also because they are both red.

    Not a bad price if you have a home theater PC and a video card that can handle high def video, but $90 for just a reader seems excessive.

    a definate attempt to get this blue ray stuff established, might be ok once the price drops, but who wants to bite the bullet with the early equipment pricing????

    #7 is correct. I'd go $150 if it was a Burner. Read only is still a novelty at this price point, unless your computer is your media system.

    Does anyone have a bluray drive? What is the best software to play bluray? It's not easy to decode full 1080p without hiccups. suggestions?

    I would wait a bit before getting one of these things. Waiting for price drop. You wouldn't notice much of a difference watching blu-ray movies on a small lcd monitor vs dvd.

    #11 - You have a few choices for playing BluRay:

    * ArcSoft Total Media Player (This is the one I like)
    * PowerDVD 8 Ultra
    * WinDVD9 Plus BluRay
    * ---forgot the name of this one---

    Along with 1 of the above, I also recommend the following:
    * AnyDvD HD
    * Virtual CloneDrive (FREE - I like this one) or DAEMON Tools Lite (FREE)
