I personally have bad experience with liteon DVD write drive. Their product life is kind of short. All my Pioneer 8X drives outlast all my Liteon 16x drive..
Pass liteon for sure.

This drive is very popular for burning xbox 360 backups. This can place 8.7 gb of data on a dual layer disc when using custom firmware. These always hang around the $20 price so this is an "ok" deal, as a regular burner it works just fine as well.
