The reviews leave much to be desired. A lot people complain this drive doesnt last.
But it's strange that there hasn't been any reviews within the past 6 months (as of this message). Right now, the only review I see for 2012 is by "E_OAK_X4" on 3/9/2012 11:47:52 AM.
Maybe Lite-On has improved the drive hopefully?

i second the oddness that there hasn't been a single review in the last 6 months, but then again, i'm interested in bd burners or bd-reader-dvd-burner combo drives, but not a bd-reader-only, so maybe nobody is buying the drive (which might explain the lack of reviews and the price).
