      Nice player, you can get a region free/macrovision free firmware update for it that enables the convenient 3 hour recording mode at http://www.rpc1.org
      Features 4-pin firewire input in front, progressive component out, multisystem compatible...

      This is an older model, LiteOn has released an updated model with DivX playback capability (under $130 at Costco)

      This does NOT double layer capability. There's only one Lite-On (without a hard drive) that has it, the DD-A500GX, and even THAT does only DVD+R DL. Ben must have pulled the support description from some other recorder.
