These "little" ladders are really heavy. It may look like it's easy to carry around since it's small but they are a pain. It saves storage space but don't think you can move it around easy. The Warner aluminum ladders are very light, but it also feels a bit flimsy. I have not seen a budget ladder that is both light and space saving.
"up to 250 lbs."? I'm out.
The only way this ladder could be any lighter is if it was not safe and couldn't support 250LBS. I bought this ladder and love it. There's not a single other ladder out there that has the superior qualities and functionality this one has. $135 shipped is a fantastic deal. Even Costco charges $199 plus tax.
#1 needs to bulk up a little more & gain some muscle so lifting this ladder isn't so strenuous.
#2 - Sounds like you should hit the treadmill so this can support your weight!
This ladder can probably easily hold more than 250 lb. but someone over 250 lb. on the highest safest step falling to the ground can really hurt themselves because of their body weight.
I own one as well. It doesn't twist on you like a typical Werner ladder will.
Fat Bastard needs 2 of these
#4, having some increased body weight isn't going to make a big difference if you fall off this sucker. It's still going to hurt, and it may injure you, no matter how much you weigh.
Furthermore, keep in mind that this isn't going to snap if you step on it weighing 251 lbs. Little Giant's engineers, like any other intelligent engineers, just set the bar extra-low because of factors that won't be a problem for 95% of users. That the ladder's 85 years old and heavily corroded, for example.
They'd deliberately understate the actual limit even if that weren't a concern. What happens if the ladder says "350 lb. limit"? You'll get a nominally-335 lb. man who climbs it, wearing 10 lbs. of clothing/boots, 5 lbs. of extra food and water in his gut (since he weighs himself nude and in the morning for a confidence booster), 15 lbs. of equipment in his pockets and around his belt, carrying a 50 lb. sack of cement mix. It'll buckle, he'll sue, and if he doesn't win (probably would in California), he'll get a damn big settlement.
I have the 1a, and its great. If its too heavy for you, then u shouldn't be climbing ANY ladder.
#1 is an adopted wuss that can barely lift his own pouting lip. 30 Pounds for this 'little ladder' is really heavy?!? Jeez la effin weez.
I'm in for one. This is basically half the price from Little Giant themselves.
I have the Model 26 Pro and love it. If someone needs a ladder, or think they will need a ladder in their future, and this height will work for you, then this is a great deal.
Decided to dive in and get one, seems a really good price and now I'll have one less excuse for getting some stuff done out in the yard.
These are the best ladders, I've used them in construction, they are very sturdy and safe!
I have the werner knockoff of this that I bought at costco. It is a great ladder, but it is heavy. These multiladders are extremely stable and versatile, but they are heavier than standard step ladders.
My ladder is the best ladder I have ever owned, but the little giant is even better.
you don't need ladder to slim down
These ladders are AWESOME!

I was able to get a B l ow JOB on this ladder from my girl because she didn't have to knell down. Thanks little giant!
I have read that about one-fourth to one-third of the sale price goes to pay liability insurance. Lawyers have collected all sorts of money from ladder manufacturers for accidents where they had no liability--just because they were the "deep pockets" of the parties involved.
I have one of the Costco ladders, bought 2 years ago, and that ladder was very heavy. Wish I had bought this one.
