In some states lockpicks are illegal to possess unless your a licensed locksmith, and even then i doubt a licensed locksmith would buy this crap.

I had never used one of these before but had to get into a car. I was in the car in less than 30 seconds!

Was that before or after the 1.5 hour training video? Smile

$30 will buy you a year's AAA membership, or pay for one trip from your local locksmith.

Morons will pay big $$$ for a phone but won't spend $2 for an emergency extra key. And yeah, I know the fancy transponders cost a lot, but all cars w/ them have a way to use a "valet" key to get in the car w/o triggering the alarm.

These won't get you into the average, double-sided car lock. They can get you into the average Quickset protected door with ease. If you've never tried to pick a lock, you should buy this kit just to see how frustrating it can be for most people. Even with the instructions on the screen and all the time in the world, you're not going to "James Bond" your way past a lock in 5 seconds.

I purchased one of these kits about three years ago and it has saved me several service calls. Last year I was requested by my son's boss to come unlock his building as he lost his keys while fishing. This took me about 1 1/2 minutes, most locks take me only about 6 seconds, and I guess I was out of practice. This kit is well worth the money.

I think Ben is trying to get us arrested. Stun guns, air pistols, lock picks, pepper spray, etc...

You can use this to pick your nose if you have small nostrils.

Not only might they be illegal, but you stand to be accused of just about burglary as soon as anybody knows you have a set of picks.

That's true. I know I've been accused of murder countless times since I got a knife set. I was also accused of stealing a car because I picked up a rock.
