So this women's husband asks " why do you always truss up the chicken when you cook it" She says "I don't know, because my mom always did it that way" So he asks the same question of the mother and she says "I don't know because my mom did it that way" So he asks grandma and grandma says " I don't know why you guys do it. I had to truss up the chicken with strings when I was young because we only had a small pot and it wouldn't fit otherwise"
This is that small pot.
I bought one of these a few months ago, great quality and incredibly heavy. Obviously that's what you get when you buy cast iron. Nice joke... but this is actually huge. They make a larger one too but I'm sure it's to big.

I prefer a rim for when I actually take this type item with me camping. The rim allows keeping the charcoals on top when baking.
