this this is really good for those of us who like to dock your computer. Primarily it helps bring the screen to confortable "long hours of work" position and give a full keyboard which feel really high quality (tho the batteries don't last long ~1month under *hr per day usage). Also it has about 3 powered USB on the back so that you can leave it in the office come in and dock with just plugging in your usb connection.
a few things to know:
-the dock will block your sound plug-ins if you audio in is in the front of your computer.
-keyboard (even though is RF is not meant for >3ft usage)
-It can fit computers up to 15 in nicely.
overall a great product.
Very nice looks and compactness for relocation.
highly recommended if you are looking for a dock station.
I have my 17" Gateway P-7805 in one of these, and it fits fine. I just got mine for $10 less on eBay, and it was a good purchase (to help make up for the skimpy 3 USB's on the laptop). There's 4 USB ports on the stand total, 3 on the right rear of the X, one in front on the left.
