Good deal, you'd pay $10 for a usb hub alone. Plus it appears to not require an AC adapter.

I bought them about 3-4 weeks ago at Compusa for 19.00.
I'm happy with them. I use them for playing race car games
at work when on break. Have not tried them for music.
The extra usb ports are nice.
I believe this would be a good addition to most notebooks. Mine has very tiny, tinny built in speakers. But calling a 2" speaker a 'sub-woofer' is really extreme 'marketing speak'!

HAVE these. It is a bit bulky but the sound sounds great! Sounds a lot better than most small pc speakers. Bass is decent from a small box. Dont expect it to sound like a 2000 watt 15" Subwoofer!
These are far better than your stock laptop speakers. Not as good a good set of 2.1 speakers with a subwoofer. They are a little bulky but I take them along when we travel so I can use the laptop to watch movies in the spare bedroom.
