Pretty good reviews for this nifty device. The USB hub is powered by an AC power adapter, though. So if you want to use that you got to plug it into a wall.
The price is okay coming from CircuitCity. Amazon has sellers with similar prices, but the shipping kills the deal.
If you notebook doesn't have speakers, it probably doesn't have sound capabilities. if you want to start adding external stuff, buy a desktop.
