I love this keyboard. Very comfortable and easy on the wrists. Like all Logitech keyboards, the wireless range is excellent. The mouse is nothing special, but the price is worth the keyboard alone IMO.
I have the wired G5 mouse I might try the wired version on this keyboard.
definitely. I love logitech products. I've got a wireless laser combination. Though I really am getting sick of changing the batteries (even though it only happens every 6 months). The other grip is that you can only hit a certain number of keys at any single time (which I can exceed while playing some games). I've been tempted to find an ergonomic keyboard but I'd really love to find a backlight keyboard too. Anyway, enough ramble. This is a terrific set for the price. Well worth it
I tried a wave for 3 days and had to go back to a "flat" keyboard. It felt like I was reaching too far for some keys at the bottom of the wave, and the keys at the top of the wave were too close.
Wireless isn't optimal for games that require fast eye hand coordination, such as Call of Duty 4, but it's OK for slower games like solitaire or WoW.
#3, LOL, I agree about the batteries, though I actually got 8 months on my first set, and roughly the same on my second. I buy the 24 pack of Kirkland alkalines from Costco. They last as long as Duracell, and they are DIRT CHEAP.
#4, it took me less than a week to get used to the ergonomic feel of this board, but once I got used to it, there was no going back. I haven't seen any lag in the keyboard on anything I have tried, but I have not played Call of Duty 4.
Why not just get some rechargeable batteries?
I have this keyboard and my only gripe is that the "F" keys are not in the normal order as I'm used to.

I love this keyboard. The F-keys aren't the best, and the delete/pageup/down area is tall instead of wide, but the feel is great. I have noticed that if you are going to be playing newer games and you need that highest performance you should get a wired keyboard over this one. For everything I use it for its great, but if I were trying to play really fast paced games it might suck.
Could only the keyboard be used with a wireless mouse that I am currently using? I want the included mouse to be a spare for when someone else uses my computer.
#6, because they don't last nearly as long, and the Kirkland (Costco) alkaline batteries are dirt cheap.
# 9, I have been using another Logitech mouse with it and it works great. I am also keeping the included mouse as a backup.
I have a microsoft 6000 and it is a jewel. works great.
I love logitech products, I am not sure how the curve really promotes a more ergonomically correct hand position, but it does take time to get used to. Other than that, this is a pretty good deal.
I am considering getting one as a Christmas gift for my family.
