I'm looking for a nice wireless keyboard/mouse combo. What are some of the better ones out there?

I'm thinking about this one, but want the price to come down before picking it up:

LX710 is a great set for the price. Keyboard top is that rubbery clad stuff Logitech sometimes uses and the mouse is a very precise laser type with reasonable range.

The keytravel is moderate, longer than notebook style, with moderate resistance but not a mushy feel. Keyboard takes AA batteries instead of AAA for much longer life.

Mouse is ambi and it's main failing is that it's a little small if you prefer to palm a mouse and move your whole arm to use it instead of smaller finger and wrist movements to move it. Mouse has 5 buttons including wheel button but gamers, playing fast games might find the two center buttons' positions awkward.

IMO, weighing the pros and cons you can't get a better set for $36 but only you know if you need to spend more or if one if it's shortcomings is a deal killer. One other thing I found disappointing about the keyboard is that one of the letter markings is starting to wear off already after about 9 months of use. Even so, if it holds up for another year before becoming unreadable I'd consider that a reasonable lifespan as I haven't been able to get more than a couple years out of almost any keyboard since the old IBM mechanical era.
