here is the logitech firmware modification to turn off the hand sensor feature so that the mouse stays on all the time - probably affects battery life. this is good for people that have bigger hands with longer fingers and have to lift their palm off the mouse to use the scroll wheel.

btw, this is 1/2 price for this mouse and the nano unifying receiver alone is worth the price.
also, the bottom of the mouse is sealed to prevent dust/lint from getting into the laser sensor. this mouse is designed to work on the couch and does NOT work as well on a hard surface. one work around might be to use it on a mouse pad.
