I love this keyboard, and have been using it for about 7 months now. Don't expect the mouse to be as good as a normal mouse, but for those times you just need 1 click, it's great.

I like the Microsoft Desktop 8000 keyboard over this one. The only advantage I see with this over the MS keyboard is that it has a built in touchpad

#2 - that's a very huge "advantage." It was the only reason I got this over any other keyboard for my HTPC at the time (PC version). It has excellent range with bluetooth, the battery life is outstanding, and I don't have to use a tabletop for a mouse OR use one of those worthless and battery-wasting gyro mice. That touchpad can easily be used as a mouse replacement as long as you don't intend on doing anything involving fast, precise movements like games.

I keep waiting for the price on these to really drop, though this is the best price I have seen.

bluetooth works well for the most part but for some reason, malfunctions when it's too close to the tower

I can't figure out why the Mac version is cheaper than the PC version.
