NewEgg.com has the Logitech DiNovo Cordless Media Bluetooth Desktop with Laser Mouse for $146 - $30 rebate [Exp 7/14] + $7 shipping = $123 shipped. It actually has design features befitting the hefty price, such as a super slim profile and an included media control center (disguised as the numeric keypad). [Review]

I'm not sure how good this would be for gaming. Sometimes I have a slight delay with either the mouse or the keyboard, but for everyday use it, is the best keyboard/mouse combo I have owned (and i've been through quite a few)

What is the range on the keyboard / mouse? I would like to use them on the big screen several rooms away (30-40 feet) from the computer. Would this work?

#1 i like this set. i play bf2142 n company of heroes n enjoy it.. response is decent.. id say if you are really picky about your mouse sensitivity and response.. this mouse with bluetooth may not be for you. i like it, but i would have to say a regular RF would fit you much better.
#3 the range is pretty decent. as with longer range, the delay does increase and also theres limitations with bluetooth implementations.

overall, i like it. i use the media pad to operate my computer while watching movies from within the same room ... about 12 feet... i would have to say if you are looking into several rooms away.. bluetooth wont suit your purposes.. n u are going to need to find another solution..

    well thats my two cents

I owned this KB for about a week an returned it, becuase I found it to be inedequate for my gaming needs. In HL2, you have to hold a key in order to dash. I would hold that key, while moving around using other keys, but would randomly stop dashing and have to press and hold it again. It was a pain. I have a DiNovo Edge right now and have zero problems with it. Now, that's the best KB I ever owned.
