Not a deal! If you check the history this is actually the highest prices it's been since last December.

For a little more than twice the price you can get a mini wireless keyboard - with a netbook attached to it.

Why the bloody hell do peripherals with NO processing power cost so awfully much?

Well, this one costs so much because it's very small and works well. There is also not really any other keyboard this small to compete and drive the price down.

I agree it works well, a friend uses one with his PS3 and loves it. I would just never pay $100 for a keyboard.

This keyboard is unique and best of class, which always costs more, at least that's what Steve Jobs told me.

can this thing seamlessly change from being connected to my computer to being connected to my ps3?

i have a badass computer hooked up to my 1080p toshiba and a ps3 too. this keyboard/mouse would work for both, but can it connect to both at the same time?

#6, there's a switch to turn it from PS3 to PC. You have to pull open the battery door on the bottom.

If this is what you want, it is a good deal. Unless you can time travel.

My only negative on this device is that you cannot buy the battery separately. One the battery is dead, I don't know of any option other than buying a new one or keeping it always plugged in.

I wanted one of these but also balked at the price. After some hunting I found the following at Amazon for $39.99:
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000JJM7S0/ref=ox_ya_oh_product

It looks like the price has since gone up, but the device seems very solid and works well. So there's hope for you ghetto dogs to get a nice small htpc keyboard with trackball for a better price. Good luck!

I bought this bad boy http://www.xoxide.com/moneual-wireless-keyboard.html it seems to be out of stock right now but a pretty good performer just some problems with the trackball getting dirty and not registering at times. Otherwise pretty happy. reputable site as well. Also, made by the makers of the sweet htpc cases with LCDs in them, moneual.

i wanted one to use with my phone instead of carrying a laptop around. the price on these is ridiculous. regardless, i'll beat myself inthe head with a rock before ordering from dell again.
