Dell Business has the Logitech diNovo Mini Wireless Keyboard for $102 - 25% off with code ZTQV568L16CMBH [Exp 10/4] + $8 shipping = $97 shipped. Features 63 backlit keys, thumb-operated keypad design, wireless control from up to 30 feet away.
Looks interesting, but I already have a wireless keyboard that isn't too big. Also, I don't like how you have to flip a switch to switch between mouse and keyboard mode. My older keyboard has a mini trackball in it.
I'm willing to pay $35 for a wireless keyboard. THis is just too expensive. I'll wait until competing products drive this price down to something reasonable.
I agree that this is too much to pay for a wireless keyboard but if you're planning on waiting for competition I wouldn't get your hopes up. This thing has been out for a while now and is still hovering right around $100.
I always fail to figure out why this thing is horribly expensive. I've got a slim diNovo a month ago $20 AR from amazon. Perfect in every aspects IMHO. I got the $30 rebate check yesterday. Logitech stuffs are amazing and they are the best in term of rebate.
You don't need to switch between keyboard and mouse mode. The switch toggles the touchpad between mouse and 5-way key mode. 5-way mode is very useful when running 10' guis (g, boxee).
anyway, it's pricey but it's cool as hell. if you don't mind having a large keyboard lying around, logitech has a bluetooth PS3 keyboard for about $40 that should do the trick.
I got a cheaper one from buy.com ($40 on sale) with a trackball that works great. It comes under a few different brands and I think it usually goes for $60 which I think is a little steep. I'm sure the Logitech is nice but I'm too much of a cheap bastard to pay $100 for it.
Here it is in action with a Mac Mini:

I own this. Thought it was too expensive. Still, it's wicked cool and the best thing for having a handy keyboard that fits inside a media cabinet.
