Got this for my HTPC. Works great so far. I had problems with reception at first, but then plugged the receiver into a USB Hub that I placed on top of a bookcase, and that fixed the problem. They claim two years for battery life. Takes 4 AAA's and has a nice on off switch. This along with the MX Air Mouse are a great addition to a HTPC.
