Yo' momma's so stupid she tripped over the wires of her cordless desktop set.
I have this set and it works really well, but the mouse wheel clicks so LOUD! I thought mine was broken and exchanged it. I suppose they wanted it to annoy the sh!t out of the other people around me..
#2, agreed. I found that if you depress the wheel even slightly, then rotate it, it helps soften the loud clicks.
#1, (apologies to those who want Ben's to be more serious....but) your joke did actually make me laugh.
hows the battery life on this thing?
You might as well go to your local library and lick the keys of their grimey homeless person keyboard. Refurbished keyboard = AIDS
Does anyone know which one Dell uses?
Keyboard is alright. Not a fan of the mouse however. It leaves your hands 'floating'. Rather spend $30 at Staples for a new set
#4, the battery life is not too good, because the keyboard uses 2 x AAA cells instead of 2 x AA. Even so, keyboards are fairly gentle on batteries so figure about 3 months of moderate use from alkalines, or with NiMH rechargables it depends on how quickly they self-discharge, you might need to recharge as often as every 90 days.
Mouse is worse, it's the old red LED type without Logitech's modern power saving technology so it doesn't have the slight lag some others do but does eat batteries a bit faster like about 90 days on alkalines or a little less with rechargables.
I wouldn't use this set with alkalines but with rechargables it's not a terrible inconvenience if you have enough of them that a spare pair is charged and ready when the first shows signs of limited power remaining.
