These are actually pretty nice. The mic can hear things around you and play it through the headset so if someone comes in and talks to you, you can actually hear them. The sound effects are also very good and I like the way the volume controls are set on the side of the headset.
I picked up a pair of these a few months back to replace a broken sound blaster arena headset. I paid $100 for them an have to say they are definitely worth it. The sound quality is excelent and battery life is decent. If you're in the market for a new gaming headset, you should definitely considetr these.
