Although the Original G15 was great, this new revised version doesn't seem as nice. From one of the reviews.
"Cons: This keyboard is a definite and obvious downgrade from the original G15. Not only does the screen have a lower resolution, it's SMALLER. Plus, it doesn't even fold down or have any kind of hinge or anything, so you can't adjust the viewing angle. They also didn't bother to upgrade the USB ports to 2.0 for some reason."
Cost and profit is the major concern about the product. Even I own the original G15 K/B but I will have to say not a lot of people will spend that much $$ for a keyboard. At this price you can get a 640 or 750GB HDD or upgrade a M/B something- the keyboard upgrade is not high priority nor necessary....
i did not like the feel of the keys on this keyboard. i much prefer the lower profile / thinner keyboards on the razers or the microsoft x6.
