G5 is a lot better than this model. At this price though you can't really complain.

hmmm, the g5 is only better if you like a palm grip, its hard to find a decent claw grip mouse. I was underwhelmed by my friends mx518 when i used it due to the shape and action required.

I prefer a G500 over this model....currently have it coming from a MX518 while my roommate has the G500.

Looks weird. Still love my Logitech MX Revolution I bought $30 AR 3 years ago.

Logitech is the place for mice. I use a G5 on my gaming machine and a couple of MX518s on other rigs.

Did they ever come out with a good cordless laser mouse to replace the G7? I love mine but the left button is starting to get flaky.

M$/Logitech/Razer need to conjure up some new stuff. They keep remaking the same general designs that were never really that spectacular to begin with. There are some excellent general use mice out there that just need adjustable DPI and Polling that would make far superior general use/game mice than any of the specialized ones.
