ClubIT.com has the new Logitech G9 Laser Mouse for $72 + $5 shipping = $77 shipped. It has gamer-friendly features such as on-the-fly dpi switching ranging from 200 dpi to 3200 dpi, custom-color LED and the hyper-fast MicroGear Precision Scroll Wheel. [BizRate]
Yeah, I would stick with a G5 or am MX518. This mouse has some neat features... saving profiles into the mouse itself so that you don't need to adjust sensitivity if you plug it into another computer (I think this is mostly a pro-gamer feature or avid lan-party goer). I still think it isn't worth all of that money though. Hopefully this will drop if no one buys it. I would consider it a good deal right now for $45.
Wow, pricey mouse. Does it really make a difference when gaming?
$77 for a mouse!?! I will pay that if they can prevent carpal tunnel.
Really doesn't look to ergonomic / comfortable enough to prevent carpal tunnel.
I've been thinking about this one but I think i might go for the Razer/ Microsoft mouse.
is nice!!
I think this is the one Games for Windows just reviewed and
gave a 9/10. Supposed to be really good for gaming.
no thanks - i can play games just fine with a $20 mouse
Hey, now that you mention it, #6, I can play games with my
wife for *free*!
one more mistake by logitech
Ugh go for the Logitech G5. I think it is more comfy. Only drawback I can think of it is 2000DPI
wow...do you really need a mouse that pricey? Does it really make a difference than the $20 kind?
If you suck at counter strike with your regular mouse, you will still suck with this mouse...
#7 is lucky bustard; a bargain hunter with wife. (No offense to anyone).
This mouse is too expensive, for $38 you could get a refub MX Rev.
Yikes, kind of expensive for a mouse. Maybe for a wireless Gyration that you can use in the air.
Pricey, how does this compare to the G5? Believe I got the G5 as low as $25 once. thks Ben
Pricey and doesn't look that great either.

I don't think one needs to spend so much on a mouse for gaming. There are probably graphic design uses for this.
I game with the MX1000 cordless laser mouse. Don't know why you need to pay so much for a "gaming" wired mouse.
gaming mouse is pretty expensive only b/c it is overrated. it's the same as any other mouse. don't fall for it.
way overpriced for a gaming mouse
