have one of these, not that great of a remote. the programming was better when it was harmony's software only. Logitech made it kinda crumby.

I think its completely worth the money, as long as your not looking for advanced features or RF...I have this exact remote and have been using it for 3 years. never had any problems except that it eats batteries.
Okay, so this isn't the most relevant post, but I just bought a Harmony One and absolutely love it. The activity-based system is awesome; setup the software right first (which actually takes longer than I expected, 45+ minutes for all the devices), press a button, and then it turns everything on in the order you tell it, sets the right inputs, etc. Being able to program extra buttons onto the screen means you never lose a button when you switch to the universal remote. This remote has less features than the One, but a lot of the core functionalities, so $30 is still a great deal on a remote that would satisfy a lot of people.
