Good remote, after 2 years I have never had any problems. And mine is refurbished too.

#1 how are the labels on the buttons holding up? Look like the type that wear off quickly.

All of my buttons still have the labels. My TV is in use about 8 hours a day (4 college kids in an apt) So the remote gets pretty heavy usage. Battery life-wise I've had to replace the batteries 3 times total.

This is a very good price. I love my 520, and this one is even better.

I've had one of these for about 6 months and it work perfectly. Each 'rubbery' button has a hard protective shell which prevents the markings from wearing off. Most of the buttons illuminate, but some (like the cursor buttons) do not. This really isn't a problem, since they are very easy to find by touch. The screen doesn't show color graphics like the more expensive ones, which keeps the cost lower (but reduces the 'gee whiz' a tiny bit big deal...). It does go through batteries fairly quickly, so you'll want to get some rechargeable AAA's for it. The software is OK; it could be better but works well enough. It controls my TV, A/V receiver, Tivo and Xbox and DVD player all in a very coordinated fashion.
