Is this better than their Logitech Harmony 520?
Will this work to control the PS3?
#2 You have two choices with the PS3:
(1) Buy an infrared remote for the PS3 with compatible USB dongle/receiver (Nyko Blu-wave runs about $15)...throw the new remote away, plug the dongle into the PS3, then add the new remote to the set of devices controlled by the Logitech. This works pretty well, with one exception...since the PS3 uses Bluetooth, you can't use this method to turn the PS3 on (no problem turning it off).
(2) Really splurge, and buy the Logitech adapter for the PS3, which takes infrared from the Logitech remote and rebroadcasts the signal as Bluetooth. I think this solution runs $50-$60.
