Got mine new for $90 during the christmas rebates season through NewEgg. Love it for the dock that will charge it, but I have to admit that if they went with a simpler display it would have had all of the features of the cheaper harmony 520's that I need (I don't have many devices).

These are super simple to use and beat the hell out of the super cheapo ones that often don't have all of the functionality to run everything in your entertainment center. They're also really nice for guests in your home by simplifying your entertainment center into activities that the remote automates. Need your stereo on and set to a specific input for the DVD player to work? It will turn on your TV, your DVD player, and stereo and then set the TV and stereo to the proper inputs. If you want to have specific audio settings you can create activities for the different settings.

The only trouble I've had was with my In-laws who had a Yamaha receiver that you could not control the A and B zones from the remote. There were no codes for it and even their own remote could not control them. But that wasn't the harmony's fault, if their remote could have I could have taught the harmony the right codes even if they weren't in logitech's massive database.

I've had this for years. The channel buttons are hard to differentiate by touch, the 520 and the One are better IMO.

This "deal" got me shopping around...I ended up going with this one for a meager $20:

Universal Remote Control URC-WR7 7 Device Remote Control with 4 My Favorite Channel Buttons.

It's not nearly as "whiz-bang" as the Harmony models, but it has raving reviews and will (hopefully) do everything I need a universal remote to do. I just can't stomach paying the ridiculous prices Harmony puts on their products.

The Harmony is well worth the higher price tag. I would not use anything but this remote. I have had the 880 for years and would buy another if I ever had to. Harmony remotes do a lot more than any other universal remote is capable of. Do your homework. The 880 is incredible.

Agree with #9. If you complain they occasionally will send you a newer unit, or so I've read on Consumerist.

#6, a universal remote is hardly the same as a Harmony. Can you program macros on the universal? One button to turn everything on, switch to the correct input, etc?

Logitech actually called me out of the blue asking if I had any problems with my charging dock and offered a replacement if I had.

Mine's finicky but I didn't bother. Been working fine for several years and several generations of home theaters.

My only issue with charging is you pretty much have to charge it every day.

#12, yes, you can....read up, it does about everything the Harmony does, but without the pretty little color screen...for 20 bucks.
