      I got mine 3 years ago for $120, so $99 is a so-so deal.

I'd love this remote if it wasn't shaped like a - well, you know what...

I think I'll just wait for a Harmony ONE.

I really like mine, and when my refurb stopped charging due to a cradle problem, they replaced the whole thing.

I bought 2 of the refurbs, the usual awesome programming experience with Logitech Harmony remotes. One of the refurbs unfortunately had burnt-out IR LEDs. Using a digicam, I could see the LEDs flashing but were VERY dim compared to the other one. Fortunately IR LEDs are commonly available, here's a thread discussing the 880's LED issue:
      http://forums.logitech.com/logitech/board/message?board.id=remote_hardware&message.id=3771

Buy replacements from RatShack or scavenge from old remotes. Strange that this issue seems to more common on the 880 than other remotes. I'm guessing Logitech either got a bad batch of IR LEDs, or over-drove the LEDs to get more output from them. Something I'm sure they've rectified in later batches.

i bought one, but i think i'm going to deny the shipment tomorrow (it shipped overnight from beach camera) and wait for the harmony one to go on sale for $150 again. a lot of reviews complain about the usability of the buttons on the 880.

Glad I got in on this at amazon for $75, they occasionally drop the price there often. However, this price isn't that bad either, there's just been lower than $99.

Good Remote the buttons on the side of the LCD suck the thing I hate is when I lose it and then I have to bust out 6 different remotes the thing needs some kind of locator function my family has experinced quite a few remote rage incidents.
