eCost.com has the Logitech Harmony Xbox 360 Remote at a good price of $49 + $10 shipping = $59 shipped. It combines Logitech's award-winning PC programmable interface, "activity" based buttons, and Xbox 360 styling / functionality. [BizRate]

I'd recommend just going with the standard logitech remotes. They all work find on the xbox and have near the full functionality this one has, plus it's better for running your overall entertainment system.

#1 - This is functionally exactly the same as the Harmony 550 (just different colors), for far less money. If you are looking for a programmable remote, this one is probably the best remote for the money.

Have had this for over a month now and I can't fully explain how it changed my life. Ok, it didn't change my life but this thing does rock. Its running my HD Tivo, LCD TV, XBOX, and mini-stereo system. Setup was a breeze and with the activities option I can tell it to watch tv and it turns on my tv and stereo, sets them to the right input, and knows to use the volume for the stereo and the channel for the Tivo.

If you have thought about buying one before go with it. This is priced well for the amount of possibilities it contains.

My 550 does the motion sensor thing whenever someone walks in the room (it's an old house with hardwood). Kinda neat.

best part is that if it goes defective Logitech sends you a replacement and tells you to throw the old one away.. they dont want it.

My had some issues with dead pixels and i called them and they sent me a new one and "deactivated" my old one. I can no longer update the old remote with their software, but i did find another piece of software that will let me program it. So i got 2 for the price of one.

#7, the ultimate point behind a universal remote is replacing all remotes with "one".
