Frys and Rebates. Amazing hassle just to save a buck. Send a message to all the lame manufactures -NO MORE PAPER REBATES! Just sell it at the discounted. Simple.
Even homer could follow that logic.

Frys = headache = clueless associates = repackaged junk = busted business owners stealing from company.
    Priceless.

I just can't understand people who think something as simple as filling out a rebate (to a reputable manufacturer) is a hassle. You probably spend more time and effort looking for non-rebate deals than on doing the rebates if you took advantage of them.

... tho I haven't had these bad experiences with Frys either. Maybe #1 is just cursed.

I'm with #1. I refuse to do rebates anymore. And for #2, it is a hassle.

I agree with #3. I do not buy a merchandise when a mail-in rebate is involved. It is too much hassle and there are times that you won't even get the money back and there times that they never send the money but by then you have already forgotten that they needed to do so! Forget about rebates. NO MORE MAIL-IN REBATES!

What is it you guys don't understand?

If you don't want to do a rebate, don't... Buy the product and don't send in the rebate... or did you mistakenly think if there were no rebates that prices would be lower?

If you believe that, you still have the option of buying the product when there aren't any rebates offered for it... though we know the price usually isn't lower then so whining about rebates makes no sense at all.
