it's personal preference. I have both this and the iogear, and several other various KBs. The ball on the iogear sucks. After about 2 months of use it got pretty sticky. I took the whole thing apart to clean it and it still sucks. Also the iogear KB is big and clunky, keys feel like crap and are noisy, as well as having to use 2 hands to use the mouse(and just to hold the monster). I also have 2 of the little lenovo remotes(old one, and the newer lighted one), but they are a bit too small for use aside from watching movies.Iogear should look into doing a pointer like the newer lenovo has(no physical ball), it works fantastic.
