This is a great price on my favorite mouse. BTW, it works great with just one battery if you want a lighter mouse.
i own this one and an mx revolution. with this mouse, you have to press that button up on top to switch the scroll wheel between click and free spin.
mx revolution has an adjustable live clutch that automatically switches back and forth. way better.
#1 and #2, can you re-program that button to do something else, or do you have to use it to control the wheel clickiness?
#3 it will only control the wheel "clickiness" on the MX1100. That button on the MX revolution is programmable, because the free-scroll adjustment is done by pressing the wheel itself down.
I've been using this mouse for several months now. It's pretty good. It's accurate with little to no lag and long battery life. My biggest complaint is that only the left, right, and center (wheel-click) buttons can report a hold. The side buttons will only send a click if you hold them down.
What about a range? How far can you go from PC? 10 feet away?
Nice mouse got 2 when it was listed here before

#3 Logitech come with a S/w call "Setpoint" you can always use that to program your button.
Great mouse - been using mine for almost a year - no problems.
All of the extra buttons are programmable if you don't uninstall the annoying Logitech software
