ignore #5 as he obviously never tried this mouse himself. If i had to replace my MX revolution (which i'm sure i wont have to), then i'd pick up another MX Revo instantly.

I don't know about that, Handonam... I needed to replace my MX 1000 (failed after 4 years) and found all newer Logitech rodents wanting on the quality (even design) side.
I had to buy and try about six (6), including the Chevy Revolution until I settled on the 660. Poor quality.
